Terms of Use

Last updated: [date]

Draft. These terms are waiting on final details from the developer. Anything in [square brackets] still needs to be filled in before launch.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [Janna's full legal name], an individual developer in Australia ("we", "us"), for your use of the TimeBlockMe app and website ("TimeBlockMe"). By using TimeBlockMe you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission, especially for purchases.

3. Free and Premium

4. Subscriptions, free trial and cancelling

5. Your content

Your blocks, notes and categories are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run TimeBlockMe for you (for example, syncing them). If Premium ends, we don't delete your data; sync simply stops until you resubscribe or delete your account.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse TimeBlockMe: no attempting to access other people's data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it for anything illegal.

7. Accounts

Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep TimeBlockMe available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Free users' data is stored only on their device; we can't recover it if the device is lost or the app is deleted. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue Premium we'll give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

9. Third-party services

TimeBlockMe uses services such as Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat, Supabase and Google AdMob. Their own terms apply to your use of their services.

10. Liability

TimeBlockMe is a planning tool. You're responsible for your own schedule (reminders may not fire if notifications are off, the device is off, or the OS blocks them). To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Under the Australian Consumer Law you have consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded; nothing in these terms limits them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [New South Wales], Australia. If you're a consumer in the EU/UK, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll show the new date at the top and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use TimeBlockMe means you accept the updated terms.
